I’m Mike George, owner of George’s General Contracting Inc. Working with my hands has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started out building forts as a kid, then moved into a carpentry apprenticeship after high school in 2004. After earning my Red Seal certification, I launched my own construction business and have been building ever since.

 

Based in Scugog, Ontario, I proudly serve Durham Region and Kawartha Lakes. We specialize in interior and exterior renovations, decks, garages, commercial projects, and agricultural/farm work.

 

I bring years of hands-on experience to every job and take pride in doing things the right way—quality workmanship, clear communication, and a clean, organized site. I also enjoy mentoring apprentices and passing on what I’ve learned over the years.

 

Outside of work, my biggest accomplishment is my family. I’m a husband and proud dad of two daughters, and we spend a lot of time on our family farm caring for our beef cows (and the extra animals my kids keep bringing home).
